In this edition of PULSE, the focus is on operating an emergency vehicle safely. Unfortunately, “running hot” (lights and sirens) is inherently dangerous, and too few operators of emergency vehicles are actually expert drivers. The vehicle is the one piece of equipment that is used the most often and trained on the least.
