Capt. Jeff Tokar is a proud second-generation firefighter and EMS Instructor, bringing over 25 years of experience to CiNet. Jeff has served with the Garland, Texas Fire Department in various leadership roles as a firefighter, paramedic, training officer and Public Information Officer. He has chaired the apparatus purchasing committee and supervised the construction of seven new fire stations and the $18 million administration training center.
Capt. Tokar is certified by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection as a Master Firefighter and by the Texas Department of Health as an EMS Instructor. He graduated from the National Fire Academy in the Executive Fire Officer Program and served for seven years as an inaugural member of the Texas Task Force 1 Urban Search and Rescue Team.
His goal at FETN, American Heat and PULSE is to save lives by providing enjoyable, state-of-the-art education that enhances the performance and safety of fire and EMS professionals.
